The newest single from Wicklow-based artist Jódy Sinclair '100 Nights' is drops November 29th on all platforms:
"This song is about capturing the energetic and exciting feeling of being somewhere new while also understanding that being surrounded by friends doesn't mean you don't still feel alone at times. I wrote it as an omage to a summer I spent living in Boston. An incredible time full of mixed feelings and every night spent up until dawn hence the line "dancing with the dawn" that brings every chorus to a close."
Fresh off supporting Matt Heafy at his show in Orlando, Florida, Jódy has lined up multiple releases set to come out over the next year in addition to a debut headline gig in the coming months.
Jódy combines technical musicianship with flowing melodies, creating songs he hopes listeners will visit over and over like old friends. Attempting to evoke a memory with every chord progression, Jódy's music paints a daydream-like mental image during each song.
His music harks back to a time when artists thrived without sticking to a single genre. "I take inspiration from everywhere, so my sound evolves from song to song. I write music I want to listen to and enjoy playing first and foremost and, after that, everything else is secondary."
